I sure don't get all the rave reviews. One minute Jake's lusting after some girl, then he's giving someone a tat, then he's being visited by some djinn then in the very next sentence he's 12 years old again and in the mental institution then he's at his mother's then he's visiting Motown at the institution. It's all over the place. I'm not even sure I'll finish this, unless it somehow gets better.
