I'm not sure I read the Florida noir before as I certainly didn't remember any of it.

I vividly recalled A Walk in the Garden but it didn’t impact me as heavily as upon my first reading. I think Love, Death and Robots might be the cause. That and reading The Forever War.

Only Partly Here might be one of my favorite stories ever. It is certainly a powerful portrayal of the philosophical confusion which reigned in the aftermath of the destruction of the World Trade Center.
