Couldn’t help but think the big picture this morning was slightly different from yesterday’s iteration.

I’ve yet to garner an elongated session with this but I do enjoy it although the domestic counterpoint smells like Updike.

Although it might reflect the current milieu of my work the thought did occur just now how nice it would be to call out and simply read this all day. That thought hasn’t been so distinct in years, probably when I was dazzled by Braudel that considered such, however briefly.

So yeah, I have Gibbon, Mieville's The Rouse and this monstrosity all going simultaneously.
I am usually a two or three book reader. Table For Fortune has me totally rapt and is currently the only thing i'm reading. At the 200 page mark and I think i could definitely read 15 times more of this.
