I had a hard time imagining why Hitler disliked so many people. Anabelle wondered then asked,
"Who does he like?"

Anabelle wasn't afraid of most people but the new girl in school, Betty was hers to fear.

I am nicely surprised so far. Interesting way of presenting.
I, as reader had to put some work in to decipher what's really going on here.

He reminds us about what to take seriously. He gives us a way to think rationally knowing that irrationality is always on the forefront.
He covers so much in a short 'space' -makes me wonder about too much.
Well written and the Princeton audio is exceptional, reading this book made me wonder about the author -he is writing from several places and even at mid 40's when this book was written. He was born in 1972.

The view from Columbia Street I have seen, but much obstructed and changed. As she saw it a hundred years ago there were no grimy warehouses thrusting up from the waterfront, there was no Brooklyn Bridge, no Statue of Liberty, no New York sky¬ line. Somewhere I have read that in 1870 the tallest building in Manhattan was ten stories.

1)Principle of Identity-- Tell what it is
2) Excluded Middle--It exists or doesn't exist. The lamp is on the desk or it isn't.
3)There is sufficient reason for everything.-Larry's mother and father are the cause of his very existence.
4) The Principle of contradiction.- He is physically in New York even though his thoughts are in Washington but he is not in both places at the same time.

I don't know what this author believes but I'm rereading this in detail just because it's on my shelf I need to understand this book independent of his other writings.
Logic and language are inseparable. Logic is about reality. Logic is about truth.
