I don't know how I've never reviewed one of my favorite books on here, but here we are. Every time I pick it up I realize my rose-tinted glasses about how great it is aren't rose-tinted ENOUGH.

I forgot Sulla is dealing with a rampagingly untreated diabetes problem, and that hits close to home. Talking about an itchy face I was just like "ok that's weird" but then putting it together with hypersensitive skin that I get when high and realizing what he had was kind of a frightening oh-s*** moment.

This is running a little too kitschy for my taste. Might need something to rinse out the cloying sweetness afterward.
