Taking this slow but it is interesting

Plan on finishing this at work today, not the biggest fan of the opening

My husband got this for me the other day as a gift after I had a good job interview. I’ve never been able to get into the Poppy War but a lot of people love this author and the premise sounds really cool. If I like this I might also try out Babel

Thankfully there was been no music this time lol. Idk who thought it was a good idea but please may they never do so again lol. Anyways, actually enjoying this more than I did as a kid, but boy is Simon very cliche and… immature i guess you could say

This was always my least favorite book in the series growing up. Hopefully I’ll enjoy the audio book more and please for the love of god let there be no music in this one like there was in the first

I am really enjoying the story, however the music they use every so often is very loud and makes it hard to hear the narrator in the audio book version. Definitely not a fan of that lol

I gave my physical copies to a friend for her kids to read (they’re around the same ages I was when I first read the series) but I’ve been wanting to give them another go so I picked up the audiobook version

Continuing my cosmere audiobook reread. Figured it would make sense to read this next since I just finished Wind and Truth

Wanted to reread this series for Halloween

Crazy work that I’m half way through day 8 and not even 3/4ths done with the book lol. Even listening at 2x speed I still have 9 hours left

This reread has really made me appreciate Venli. I know most fans dislike her and especially her flashbacks in the previous book, but I like her growth and she is kinda a younger foil to Navani and Jasnah

Really love the exploration of Maya and Adolin’s bond

Just love this series and Brandon as an author

It feels like forever since I read this for the first time last year. Lord has 2025 been a year 🤐😮‍💨

I’ve only read this copy and it’s already looking like it might come apart at the seems so I’m gonna see if I can’t find a way to bind all of the omnis into a super omni eventually lol
