Good story. Author has an interesting imagination.

Fast paced!

I hope it gets better. Started out okay, characters are interesting and likable. The second book goes kind of preachy and makes me consider not reading the rest of the set, but I guess I’ll try Mortal Wrath and hope it changes my mind.

Fast moving, keeps you on your toes!

I’ll follow this series. Lots of stuff going on and hidden plots.

Great read! Looking forward to more by this author. Good characters, interesting and fast story lines.

Lots of twists and turns!

Tess Gerritsen is a great author! Love this new series.

Left me wanting another book in the series! Is someone really wanting to help Edgar? And why?

I like Edgar. The setting feels right too.

Interesting twists and turns. This is the first series where the main character changes from book to book. For my feeble mind, I found that distracting.

This started out slow, possibly because it had been a long time since I’d read the last book in the series. Interesting powers are being found in the coven.

Felicity Phillips and friends are definitely more than wedding planners, they might need more work on their alternate ‘career’!

Unfortunately I read these books slightly out of order, but amongst all the twists and turns of this current mystery, it added to my understanding of a few things in future books!

Great to meet a new character! She’s fantastic with lots of surprises!

With twists and turns, who figures it out first? Rex or Albert? Another good story by Steve Higgs!

So many loose ends, lost dogs and displaced people. Can they wrap it all up in a pretty bow for presentation?

Added dimension to this episode. Steve Higgs’ stories are easy to follow even with so much going on. Always enjoyable!

Lots of changes for Jill in this episode! Braxmore makes an appearance. Florence is learning fast. Jim, oops, Jack has to just sit back and deal with it all.

Jill’s search for the stones reaches its pinnacle, but will the outcome help her? Sups in the human world seem to keep causing problems wherever they are, speaking of Sups causing problems, how is Jill’s grandmother?

Since I’m reading this series in quick succession, I enjoy the way the author has the plot move from one book to the next. I really love butterflies, but who doesn’t?!

Jill continues to amuse. Grandma continues to frustrate her. All is well in their world!

Married life seems to suit Jill. Her antics have mellowed some but she’s busier than ever!

Jill continues to get herself and those around her in odd little messes! It’s always fun to see how she’ll work her way out.

Gambling, gargoyles and werewolves… who could ask for more? Jill continues to run into some strange cases and characters.
