Though it was heavily spicy I had to skip the ones I read were good. And I love an attentive mmc so that was nice not to mention him loving her fully regardless of her past and even not judging her for stripping only showing up to whisk her away was done well. Still the sexclub scenes not my thing. All in all I enjoyed it for what it was and loved that FMC took care of mmc just as much as he took care of her.

I’m iffy on stalker romance but when I like it it’s because it rides the line in all the right ways. This one felt like he couldn’t be trusted and if they got serious and she broke it off she’d have a hell of time shaking him. Then all of a sudden mmc is killing her rapists which yes isn’t horrible but I didn’t need so many details. There were still things I liked

I have mixed feelings on this one. FMC had a difficult past with drugs and trauma so lived by a strict routine to not relapse. Mmc become obsessed quickly but refused to acknowledge his attraction right away which kinda turned me off. Then he started stalking her heavily. Cut a hole in her wall and watched her through a two way mirror

She pissed me off. I’m all for a besotted mmc but I like to see the reasoning behind it and FMC was not doing it for me

You would lie about this man being the father. Definitely could’ve gone really bad. But saw past that only to absolutely hate the FMC. She was insufferable and ungrateful. Definitely deserve for mmc to be down bad and going so hard for her. Here is marrying her, moving her into hi house, building her a deck, and claiming her child. And she’s arguing with him, moody and still not sure about him.

This had a decent premises mmc and FMC childhood friends mmc pining for FMC forever but she doesn’t know. MCs have a fallout and avoid eachother for years while she’s traveling and he’s working. FMC gets preggo and abandoned with no health insurance mmc offers to marry her and pretend the baby was his. That was the part I didn’t like the lying, everyone found out the truth and was like oh makes sense that

Mmc is hooking up with men and women and I skipped ahead and the OM shows up quite a bit in the story. Just want mmc to be obsessed with FMC once married

Also FMC hid virginity from mmc whole time and they were having sex when he realized no real interesting take on this or response from him once he found out. They also fell in love right away but didn’t tell each other but it still moved fast so there was minimal build up or tension. Also I’m not a fan of grand corny gestures. So dropped another star for that

This had a lot of things I could’ve liked but the execution wasn’t there. FMC is shy virgin teacher friend of hot whore hockey player. She asks for lessons to know how to get the vp at her schools attention. They hook up and while the spice was good everything else was lackluster. No real jealous scene eventhough she did go on date with om.

Moved a bit too fast for me. Didn’t enjoy this storyline (read book 2 review). Enjoy authors writing though

And it looking like this was the only real storyline and tension. I gave up. Mmc is the real winner here cause his dick/mouth and talk game was on point. But it wasn’t enough to hold me

After getting fired and is pretty relatable considering this is many people her age in this economy’s reality. But it did get tiresome especially with mmc being basically a night in shining armor want to wish her away on his horse to his families land and f her silly. But instead she’s like I have too many issues let me wallow. Just not my kind of escape. And with nearly 60% of the book left

I don’t live how this book was constructed but I enjoyed this authors other book and her writing is good so I’ll keep trying with her. This book is split into two with the first book almost feeling like a novella with how quickly the MCs fall for eachother and being so short. Then the second book is twice as long. Just don’t understand why it wasn’t all just one book. FMC is dealing with an identity crisis

I tried with this but mmc was kinda a dick and didn’t really earn any affection from FMC but got it anyway. Took too long for him to start falling for her and begin defending and caring for her

Instead I have to read about mmc going to sex clubs and sleeping with other women. While sad FMC plays punching bag and nurse maid to everyone around her. I hated this with a passion.

I’m irritated I waisted so much of my night reading this. FMC is deaf and engaged to mmc neglectful brother. His fam treats her horribly, her parents treated her horribly and her fiance gets into a car accident after lying and is in a coma . He had been drinking and cheating but everyone is keeping that a secret from her. I was in it hoping FMC would doting on by a good man finally. That was not what I got

It was more custody drama and him being an unfit father than jealous om drama that I want. I liked it but will likely be forgettable

I enjoyed this book. I like a protective mmc. She was older with kids and a crazy ex. She thought mmc was an fboy with commitment issues. He was a reformed fboy with mommy issues/fetish (his words) that was a little icky. But this was decent. This is a series so there were a lot of other characters and promotion for other books and storylines also the drama with the ex kinda got old

He starts dating the uppity baddie who’s a good woman and then when she shows up at his door they mess around with the ow right upstairs. The way this gave me anxiety. I could never cheat cause I ain’t built like that. He feels bad and does an apology performance the next day. Then MCs get married that very week. Felt bad for ow but these two had me rooting for them bad. Loved it

MCs are bfs FMC has a scrub at home but uses mmc for all things boyfriend material except the title they even “made love once” just found it funny they called it that and still try to act like they could stay friends. Anyway mmc beats up said scrub because he shows up at his restaurant on vday to cuss FMC out. FMC is scared of how much she likes mmc did that and goes ghost on him after he confesses his love.

Especially since mmc was the man in town, good looking, good dick, protective, loving etc but she won’t pick him.. I need a better why. Then the question of why she didn’t work and let a man belittle her about it. Girl get a job and leave that man. Still this authors writing and mmc yearning won me over despite all that so that’s a massive win right there.

This was in mmc pov so I did feel like I didn’t really know FMC all that well. So it was hard to understand her reservations about their relationship and why she stayed with an aunt shit man for 6 years. Also she hinted at having her own issues, getting therapy and also knowing how men act when fighting through grief. I just felt there was a whole side of the story I was missing

This was a pleasant surprise. It was really beautifully written, author used such beautiful metaphors and I really felt how mmc was feeling and how he love FMC down bad. This was more talking than showing though there was a good mix. Normally I get irritated when MCs have already hooked up in the book but mmc loved to talk in long eloquent prose like damn write me a love letter for real.

Honestly started reading because this book series will be a show and the actor photos showed a poc fmc. But she’s not, actually a blonde cookie cutter fmc like all the others. Just not in the mood for that. Also didn’t love the 1st book and not in an iffy mood.

This was too insta-lust. FMC is sleeping in car on private property mmc is sheriff and arrests her while lusting after her. He’s a single dad/widow. Mmc wife died tragically and he has remorse for not protecting her. FMC is in town for some mystery reason related to sister. Not really into mystery/romance/thrillers.

This book is all over the place. FMC takes over dead uncles property is scared her family won’t like it. Mmc is forest ranger, sheriff, pilot, basically mayor lol. Uncle was secretly trying to hook them up. They have insta-lust act on it and then FMC has to fly to Vegas with him to hear the will. FMC has body image problems. Too disjointed and chemistry not convincing

He tells her he’ll meet her in a year same place if she’s ready then. Then the book just seems like filler and now they have introduced her starting her own design company and maybe working with mmcs sleepy old boss (who met her once) on a project. FMC also like to complain that’s she fat and feels ugly but guys be chasing her left and right. Okay?

No real build up just flirty convo. They hang out some more and honestly mmc isn’t written all that bad but the spice didn’t hit. I couldn’t tell if she was enjoying it or he was getting off and she was just there. Idk. Then in this week of hangouts he tells her he loves her and she loves him also.. already?! FMC broke up with a bum ex and doesn’t feel ready

I don’t know if I would call this romance. Maybe more women’s fiction. This book goes on and on about FMC career and good pay but how much she hates her job and coworkers. Sometimes she a jerk for no reason too. In the beginning she goes on vacay to Jamaica to get away from her life and meets a guy and they almost immediately have sex

It loses momentum but the first 70% does enough to carry me through. Will read again soon.
