I’ve been skimming hoping I would like this. Mmc is mafia Mmc is jock I think. It’s just falling flat and Mmc is abusive just not into it

This was cute with the spice mmc was really gentle and kind/patient. Just what FMC needed. The story had its plot holes and pieced together to get the Cinderella feel. But ultimately it was a sugary sweet read

Re-read and while mmc is a bit of an ass in the beginning he really grows on you. It was fun and I got the jealous, possessive down bad mmc I always crave

This was okay I liked the legit reason MCs broke up with her needing custody of brother. But then all the drama with current husband kinda made me lose interest. Also mmc knew everything about divorce and legal jargon while she had. Masters Nd experience herself but was clueless .. okay?

That she is pregnant and told him almost right away and his excitement over the whole thing. Ultimately this a good happy ending but if she decides to give us more I’ll play.

Mmc loves FMC Dow bad and is really the selling point for me. Of course I always want more om drama and jealousy from mmc but that’s not what their story is about and I’m okay with that. I’m not sure this will be the last book obviously there are other characters and now they’ve introduced his cousin but even though spin offs are just side pieces compared to the way mmc loves his woman. I loved them

I think this is the end. The MCs are on book 4 with their massive society wedding, elopement, fight about paparazzi drama and gossip magazines, a kidnapping murder attempt related to throwback of a business acquisition for mmc where the ceo jumped off a building and now his lover wants revenge. This was good and spicy. I really empathize with these characters backstories and their journey to stay together through it

And does expect FMC and their relationship to solve all his problems. On to the next

Especially if they bring up kids in future books. I thought this was the last book & I could’ve been. This was a good wrap up with them sailing and getting engaged. Curious to see what book 4 holds. These are good books. But a five star for me has a lot of jealousy and opportunities for mmc to have cave man antics. This was more emotional trauma they both needed to work though. Hopefully he gets some real therapy

This is a second read. Gave it 4 stars and that was appropriate. In this story we get to learn why mmc was so guarded and damaged. Though for the most part he was pretty open and doting on FMC I thought. Other than the lying which she did too I don’t think he was that bad. But it was good to learn about his trauma and that he had a pedo grandpa who abused his dad and him

Entire life to sleep with her. Which I understand her being pissed but let’s be real he’s a hot billionaire man who spoils protects and is good in bed. We’ll get over it by making him grovel just a little bit. But in all honesty this gives her an opportunity to flip a bit of the power dynamics cause otherwise she has nothing.

This is second read looks like I didn’t even rate this one. But it was good. I’m this book we get to learn more about both MCs pasts, why they keep lying to one another and we face off with the evil stepbrother. I wish the face off with step bro would’ve been better it was pretty anti-climatic. But other than that this was pretty on brand with the 1st book. MCs breakup when FMC finds out mmc manipulated her

Killing he step dad after he assaulted her. In next books we learn they’ve both compulsive liars for their own reasons. But ultimately good second reading.

Ranking considering how much I love a good trilogy. I love to follow a couple when there’s real chemistry, jealousy and mmc being hot and rich so I get to travel. She is living the dream and I was high key jealous reading this. I love his name and his rescuer vibes. I know it’s a con since overseas this before and he kinda trapped her into his clutches but still you won’t see me complain

So I read this series a while back and then I saw there was a new book so decided to give this a reread so I could refresh. First read was 2 stars. But honestly I was new to the genre and not really into the whole bdsm thing. Having reread this and still not into bdsm I realize this isn’t even that and pretty basic stuff with the spanking etc. I’m gonna jump this book way up and am kinda mad I gave it such low

Just throw a black character in there just to do it and often times the romance is rushed and FMC doesn’t feel authentic in some way. But since the pacing is meant to be fast I was able to over look the rushed romance especially since characters really sold it for me.

This was fast paced and kept me interested. FMC was mixed race which was a nice change. Also the chemistry was palpable between the two. The stalker storyline was obvious but likely intended that way and still well done. I liked their trauma stories and how they worked to gain trust. I also liked mmc was an amputee though his story with his dad pissed me off. My only real complaint is sometimes it feels like white

These are quick reads but they lack the finesse of Ruby Dixon and they’re almost too cheesy for me. But I love the fact the FMC includes diversity in her characters of both ethnicity and also body types. At this point a lot of the character traits seem a bit recycled but I do love her trying to bring in different cultures. Ultimately this was a pass the time read and likely forgettable.

I loved that they both agreed to no kids and how she embraced his family and even talked about passing a family legacy to Max be still my heart. The spice was good and ultimately the best ending to my favorite series of all time <3

Was still 10 years. Would’ve loved a 40 year old FMC. But I understood her being younger and a woman owner was central to her character story. Also with her being previously married and having to leave that relationship before her granddad could give her the team the timeline did make sense more. FMC was strong and independent, I loved how she handled the blackmail and disrespect

This was like a warm hug. Being that caught up is one of my fav books ever being invited back into this world and getting to see more of the lives of my fav characters was such a treat. Then for daddy Monty to finally get his happily ever after after his self sacrifice and seeing how much he cares for others was the icing on the cake. I loved his character. I do wish FMC was just a little older just cause age gap

And even showed her going through it again when they found her mother’s remains I also really felt the FMC is loneliness and how the mmc wanted to fill that hole for her I love that she got her happy ending with a baby and another one on the way so this was a nice comfy read just a little long winded for my liking

When the boys find out they’re pissed and don’t talk to her which I don’t know if I agree with that approach she tries to leave to stay at her friends house. He calls her follows her and makes her come home with the boy. That scene was cute. There’s a couple face offs with the ex and ex mother-in-law. They were decent. Ultimately this was a nice chill read I enjoyed how they discussed your grief

She helps the kid write music and gets lost on hikes a couple times and is rescued by the MMC. there’s a lot of tension and they take forever to get to the spice for really no reason at all more for our benefit it seemed. Spice was minimal one scene and the dialogue wasn’t the best but real effort there. The FMC keeps in a secret who her ex is

By letting her write his music, but not claiming her in public, she moves back to Colorado where her mom went missing on a hike. She rents upstairs room in garage and finds out that it was from the 16 year-old kid whose father didn’t know. MMC was rude to me and her because she reminds him of his bipolar mom. She gets his job at an outdoor store with her friend and tries to repeat the hikes that her mom did

This was longwinded and at times felt a little boring but I was in a patient mood so I could withstand it. It was 1st person only and with mmc hot and cold attitude it was sometimes hard to read him but we got there and that was kinda the point. FMC broke up with ex country star who took advantage of her for 14 years
