They had realistic convos and FMC was pretty likable. The one thing I disliked was authors language during spice. Characters kept saying my/her treasure etc and it was very distracting.

But I gave her a break considering her trying to distance herself from him but still.. girl! Then all the drama with his ex, her hiding in the closet while they sexed and then leaking her nudes and a different video. Was a lot. Then to top it off the kid with his ex wasn’t his. This book was long and I just wanted it to end by the very end. But it never got boring. The characters seemed real

I read this before and only gave it one star. Not sure why I was so harsh. But enjoyed it the second time around. Mmc is rapper falls for FMC quick and pursues her heavily. FMC works for a jewelry and is a single mom. It threw me for a loop. Her ex being a rapper also and mmc parking on a song with him while dating her and her not saying anything.

I didn’t see any character growth and the fact that we had to wait for spice just for it to be basic as hell. I just kept getting annoyed. Finally the whole point of the fake marriage with the kid and there was barely any storyline with him, why bother. Also them mentioning she’s in debt but never bringing it up again and her health scare again not bringing it up again why?

This book was so dry and boring just MCs talking about family drama and while I felt for FMC and the tabloid shame they didn’t even really make it a thing when they got together again. The banter was boring mmc literally just wanted to get his dick wet and didn’t seem that into FMC. He kept calling her babe which I despised. MCs were at time insufferable with their inner dialogue

I stayed because the set up of the book was different than the typical romance but man was it disappointing. FMC and mmc were best friends and lovers who just kept missing each other. I saw a rec by author saying there was yearning but didn’t feel it and mmc possessive but all he does is check her location on an app. This is average behavior

This was a dnf I re-read because I didn’t leave a review. FMC is hot for boss but he’s an ass so she gets over it and then gets cheated on by fiance. No real storyline mmc didn’t even notice FMC like that before she dressed up for the ex & he lets other men say disrespectful things about her. Their convos are crude and it’s just lust with no buildup or chemistry

This was okay. I think this writer is a bit too quirky for me to relate to her characters. But there were aspects I enjoyed. Mmc pining after FMC secretly making sure she got home safe and her liking it when she finds out but the primal play also felt unrealistic considering they had to sneak around in the first place. Ultimately I just feel like this could’ve been better

This book starts with mmc coming home from 4 years in military to sisters high school grad he’s 22 and has been writing letters with her classmate starting when she was 14. Her last letter confessed her feelings for him and asked him to take her v. And he does just that. Idk felt very groomer-esque to me. Then glad forward mmc got out of jail because of drama from previous book.. nah I’ll pass.

Gave another go and still wasn’t it. FMC is pulled into another world and mmc is some good punished to walk earth in human form. She is to be his guide. Mmc is a jerk to her but I guess likes her cause when she gets horny on drugged wine he helps her without taking advantage of the situation. This is long and not likely MCs enough yet for this kind of investment. Maybe try again later

This was decent. FMC mid 30s mmc mid 20s I like a man who knows what he wants and he wanted FMC since meeting her as a boy. I liked that he pursued her. The wedding ceremony reminded me of another book I miss and can’t find. This was novella short so my only complaint is it could’ve been drawn out more

Author writes her religious critiques and observations so well. And also gave a good disclaimer in the beginning so I didn’t get turned off. Ultimately Ry bell was down bad just the way I like.

It took me a moment but once I was in I couldn’t put it down. I love a man obsessed and that was this mmc. FMC is 6 years older adjunct professor at Catholic college and extremely talented sculptor. She sad lonely and poor and my fav FMC to get a devoted lover and hea they deserve. He is depraved for FMC and I soaked it up

Didn’t leave review. Pretty sure it had to do with MCs being separated from each other in the beginning I also think I didn’t remember the first book all that much and with it not being memorable I likely lost interest

I’m sure I tried this multiple times but couldn’t get into it. FMC was annoying and privileged, whiny from what I could remember. Plus mcs seemed so young I couldn’t connect. I will try again though

I guess I read this but didn’t leave a review. Reading a review I see why it’s not for me. Mmc is already engaged to ow when he falls for FMC. Hard pass.

Then out of nowhere MCs are sexting eachother.. okay? Kinda lost me. Writing wasn’t the best. I think this is a novella so that is why.

This was an arranged marriage because FMC needs a green card. Mmc just got out of psych unit stay maybe? Not sure I don’t think it was jail though. Their mutual friends hook them up. There isn’t much interaction or chemistry before the wedding or during engagement. Maybe a glimpse or two. FMC friends keep saying she’s wild and has this great personality, not seeing it

Their reunion with her sports injury and him being her pt was lack luster and then it jumped forward a couple months so we didn’t even get to see they work through that drama. I didn’t really care for her after that so not worth it to keep reading. Don’t care if she gets a hea.

Kinda lost interest. I liked seeing them grow up fall in love and even go to college together. Mmc was sweet supporting her through her bully dad storyline and his family basically adopted her but then they had an accidental pregnancy in college and she aborted and ghosted him and it pissed me off. She could’ve worked through that with him.

I do pining males not the other way around and this was more of a pathetic FMC and I just can’t.

She had to transfer schools, became depressed and even was admitted to a psych unit. All because of a boy. I can’t co-sign this behavior and I was instantly turned off. Not to mention there is a prologue talking about future events where they hook-up and he potentially does in a car accident and he was married to someone else at the time.

I was in it in the beginning eventhough this book was over 600 pgs. Mmc was hot guy who geeky FMC crushed heavy on and normally it’s not my thing. But mmc was really sweet to her but once they started dating I got turned off my FMC behavior she became jealous and desperate. It was too frustrating to read. And then when he started being a teenage boy and maybe seeing other girls she lost it

This is a vampire romance not really my thing but I tried. However MCs hooked up already in the book. FMC may have MCs baby and has some weird suitor storyline. Also getting poc from other characters which I hate.

This was a ons trope not my thing. Unnecessary prologue about dad telling sons not fall in love cause mom died young and he’s sad.. okay. They meet at a wedding and storyline is dry

I like that mmc was obsessed with FMC from day 1 didn’t love the kidnap plot because mcs had chemistry and FMC had been giving into mmcs advances so it felt unnecessary. Also he called her an idiot at one point kinda turned me off. There is a flashback at the end which should’ve been earlier but ultimately MCs get their happily ever after and it could’ve been worse

This author is really hit or miss for me

Reading this on audio in hoopla. Narrator is male and mmc has an Irish accent. But again audio is hard for me so that was already strike one. FMC is a Valkyrie who almost died and is banned from sex by goddess who gave her powers. They are mates. He instantly wants her and from sneak peeks book is just him chasing her trying to sleep with her. Not it for me

Things I didn’t like the brothers both were lusting over her when she was underage ick. There was really no build up almost started halfway in with FMC marrying other brother because her real love married her sister. Felt bad for bro got a raw deal had to pay off his dads debt and marry the sis who was pregnant by said perv dad. Ultimately this kept my interest
