Idk maybe I’ll give it some more time but I already can tell this isn’t my type of book

This was another book I put on hold but already know it ain’t for me. FMC is complaining about her perfect life and how she’s gotten everything she wants but is still not happy. Ok sure it happens but not something I can currently empathize with. Already time jumps and flashbacks which I hate. Looking like single pov and mmc is not pining from what I can tell more like they had a falling out and have to make up

So she is planning some scheme to mar him want to break up with her. I guess this is supposed to be a cutesy rip off of how to lose a guy but the plot sucks and the FMC is irritating. Too many side characters and author plugging her other books. This wasn’t it for me.

Let’s not take into account he was a dumb teenage boy when he did this and he can’t have grown up at all since then. Anyway she gets stuck on a hike and he has to rescue her. She is looking for some plant and out of all her friends he is nominated to help her so she doesn’t get stranded again. He’s determined to win her back and they kiss and make up but she secretly doesn’t want him

I put this on hold but unfortunately it’s not delivering. FMC is a nature girl working on phd mmc is a fireman with rescue. They dated in highschool but he is a daredevil and when he left her after hooking up to go thrill seeking after she asked him not to she never forgave him. She hates him forever because of this dumbass reason apparently.

FMC is divorced has a bratty son and mmc is the brothers best friend who forgot about everyone when he made it big in the nhl. Now he’s back after an injury and trying to make amends with his mom and bf. MCs have instant chemistry and flirting and it’s just not my thing. I want some more push and pull and FMC is already into him hard but pretending to hide it.

This was boring and forgettable. I’m writing this several days after dnfing and I can’t remember a single thing about it.

I waited for this book to become available but I should’ve read the premise. Visits from ghosts of Christmas past is not my thing at all. I’m not gonna do it to myself.

Ultimately I knew this wouldn’t work for me as I don’t care about war college/battle tropes and even the dragons weren’t that interesting. Also some of the twists were too obvious. Caden working for the other team duh, the little dragon being a baby obvious, and then her brother showing up was the least surprising thing of all and was clear from how much the kept bringing him up

I gave it the whole college try and should’ve dropped out. This was so boring and felt like one massive run on sentence. I didn’t really care about any of the characters. FMC was forgettable and mmc was lackluster. I wanted pining and yearning and a real love triangle but she didn’t even like the other guy and he spent most of the time being an ass.

Apparently the MCs have a threesome with the antagonist false king from the previous 2 books. Understandably people were upset as the forced marriage between FMC and rian was a huge pain point for the couple in book 1 and 2. Mmc was extremely jealous possessive of her around anyone really but now he shares. Okay? I’m not gonna bother and if I ever get the urge to pick this up again it will only be 1&2

Who is also a god who has just awoken and has been searching for the other gods including her to take their human form which they do every few centuries. Apparently in every iteration she alone is the difficult one so he tries a different approach with her. FMC then becomes a god and needs to drink mmcs blood and is feral wanting to sleep with him. At this point I turned to reviewers to see what I was dealing with

I went ahead and read reviews cause I just wasn’t sure about this and good I did. I loved loved loved book 1 and 2. Now 3? I had no idea what I was reading. It was all depraved mythical gods and really added no depth to the characters love story till like the very end and at that point o was totally checked out. This starts off with FMC fighting to protect mmc from what I don’t remember but I think her dad?

Author could have done a better job with describing her character, her whole study of people fell flat for me. There was a lot of critiques in reviews about this sexclub and mmc having had sex with a client there. Not sure how I would’ve reacted had I not read about it beforehand but it did feel like an unnecessary over share and at this point of the story added nothing to the storyline

This is age gap and mafia-virgin trope. FMC has asd and mmc is in awe of her uniqueness. Age gap wasn’t central to the story so it didn’t bother me and while the storyline was intriguing I couldn’t get a handle on mmcs personality and the way he fawned over a pretty basic FMC just wasn’t vibing. I liked that he liked her for who she was but

This isn’t horrible just not really all that original. I do feel the chemistry between MCs but they also fell so fast. Though on the other side I do love the pacing isn’t so slow and drawn out but it still is almost too fast. Plus the fact the MCs don’t realize their each others mate made them see dumb to me. The other king is the bad guy and doesn’t nothing really to hide it

Not my style of book and I don’t care about Christmas highjinks. FMC returns home after failed job? Runs into highschool bf they are archenemies for some reason now. There’s some Christmas contest “equivalent of holiday cheer myster” they both get signed up and compete with eachother. Stopped caring

I tried but this wasn’t it for me. There was too much going on this world with the different beings and rules and I just didn’t have the attention span for this particular story.

Not a storyline I cared about. Didn’t feel the chemistry either

Tried reading but the writing style was very disjointed and confusing. In the first two chapters author was jumping timelines and conversations between characters and I was lost. I didn’t find the story intriguing enough to sit down and try to parse out what I read so far. Also FMC was some kind of vibe/cool editor/reviewer I had no idea and didn’t care not my thing

Mmc and FMC go on the run together and fall for one another. There some fighting with other orcs and mean humans also making connections with nice human families. FMC was sold out by the guy she turned down and that confrontation was boring and a bit of a let down. This was nice but forgettable

This was decent not really a standout for me. FMC is kidnapped and sold to a clan of orcs to become the leaders sex slave. Mmc is a half human orc son of the previous leaders human sex slave. He has been shunned and bullied by clan but has nowhere to go as his mother ran away and left him behind. He finds FMC and rescues her.

I can’t this is just too rushed for me. Mmc is still married but separated obv doesn’t tell FMC before their ons so that will blow up in their face. No.

And can he even take care of a kid with his schedule? Also the chemistry? What was it other than just lust. since most of this portion of the book was set up I didn’t feel any connection between the two and is exactly why I hate books with ons in the beginning because I don’t know the characters enough to be invested in their story. In the end I just didn’t enjoy the world this book was building.

FMC cousin gets shot and mmc is given custody of 4 year old niece whos constantly crying for her mommy. The mmc runs into FMC at the strip club she works at and wants her again because the sex was good. I just wasn’t feeling this I was hurt for the niece and how everyone kept saying she’d be fine cause he a great guy and can raise her to be great too. Umm can we talk about the abandonment issues she’ll have?

Can’t get into this. Mmc is an mlb player who finds abortion paperwork in fiancé things and learns she’s been having affair with teammate. Beats the guy up and gets kicked off the team then demands to be picked up by home team. Goes to a party and hooks up with FMC who was also cheated on by bf and bf. They both have gang affiliation her cousin his sister. Their fam gets caught and mmc sister goes to jail

I have given this long enough to impress me. It did not. It was boring as hell, too many characters and court politics for me to care about. Was this a romance or a historical account of the lives of the most boring individuals they could find. Nothing interesting happened and I didn’t feel any real chemistry outside of the bedroom. Both MCs were virgins and mmc had never been kissed. The end, that’s the book.

FMC and mmc been hooking up and mmc wants to make it official. They are on vacation for a friends wedding and mmc messes with her hotel reservation to force her to stay with him. The fight and hookup and mmc confesses his feelings for her but FMC is holding back and there isn’t a good explanation on why. This ends in cliffhanger as this is 3 parts. Not my fave

Supposedly the dad was collecting millions from the husband in payment for her. All this was extremely confusing to me. Oh and husband has a mistress with baby who FMC doesn’t know abou. But she’s allowed him to cheat on her several times , talk to her crazy and still stayed. I just wanted more insight into what the reasoning was behind that.
