Chapter 5

This book jumps around a bit. And I feel as though Sophia's feelings for Derek weren't that well developed in the first book, so it seems weird that she's suddenly all into him in this book. I also hate how second books ALWAYS seem to split the main love interests up! Second books are a waste of time.

Omg! It's taken the whole book just to reach their destination! Sweet baby leprechauns, this book feels like it's dragged a bit. I feel like I just want it to get to the point now.

This book is confusing me. I thought Kade turned into a human so he could enter Hell with the others, being that he is a pure-blood Angel and pure-bloods couldn't enter Hell. Then all of a sudden, in the middle of the book, his companions, Dom and Malachi, show up in Hell to rescue Emma and help her on her way. But, I thought they were pure-blood...and they seem to be angels still...? What's going on?

So close to finishing. Omg I can do this!

I was so not looking forward to reading the rest of this book. But, so far it seems to be okay. I loved the beginning with Potter and Kiera in it, but as soon as I realized the rest of it was about Isidor, my heart sank. Although, now it seems to be getting slightly better. And, Melody's Mum is a complete nutcase. OMG. And, that other father?! Are all parents in this series just absolutely awful?

Okay, so at the beginning of the series, Lenalee's name was translated too Renali, and now its Lenali...so, while they have different spellings, at least we now know that it wasn't Renali in the first place!! Still waiting to see if Crowly's name gets changed from Crow-Chan and Ravi's name gets changed to Lavi, like they are in the series. Once again, so glad I watched this story before reading!

I love how the translater, half way through one of the chapters, is like "Translator note: I don't know what that says" so they just left a whole lot of Japanese text in the chapter, and just guessed what it was saying.

This is in my copy that I have access to anyway. Not sure if it is in the final release of the Manga.

I like how this book started. Fast paced and full of action, but now Isidor is telling his story and I can't help feeling a little bored by it. I can't say Isidor is my most favourite character and I'm not enjoying the story being from his point of view so much. I didn't enjoy Kayla's point of view, nor Sophie's either in the previous books. But I don't mind Potter and Kiera.

So that's how Finny's hat got ruined! I missed that in the anime. And in the murder mystery storyline, the guard fixes his hat, but I couldn't figure out why. Turns out it pays to read the books after all for more storyline. The servants are definitely an badass lot, that's for sure!

For awhile I was annoyed that most of this book is from the point of view of a girl named Sophie. Potters first love. I thought this was Potters story, not Sophie's. But, as I read it, it's actually quite fascinating! I have a feeling that the cop who bashed the wolfs head in is Murphy! I think he's come back from the dead too.
