meh. I liked hearing the book read by Manchin himself, and I learned some things about recent West Virginia history, but I got very little insight into the big question on my mind when I started the book, which is why West Virginia's seem so ambivalent about Manchin. I'm seeking conversations with people who have opinions about him, one on one.
