This is the second book in the series and it is a can't put down type of book. I feel for Raylee with everything that is happening. As I'm reading this, I feel that there is some kind of connection with the thunderstorms. I just haven't figured it out yet.

When I first started this book and read that Emmett's mom was taking him to a place where there was other children i thought it was going to be a sad story as to the children being abused since the place was hidden in the mountains. I was proved wrong, they were actually well taken care of... THEN all hell broke lose. I was so upset with what happened to the caretakers, then to the little girl.

Ok so my kindle is saying that there is 2932 pages to this book, so I am not sure why this status is showing that I am finished.

This is a well written novel.
Love the storyline of how a junkie lives and how he pushes forward to clear his name. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
