The beginning is already really intriguing. It has some levity alongside the first hints of deeper thoughts on humanity and existentialism.

Wanted to read more but was way too sleepy to put in the work. Hope to finish this before the end of the year though!

What I've learned so far:

Basically Gnosticism made the divine accessible to anyone, taking out the middleman between person and god. Those in power in Orthodox Faith felt threatened by this development, which is what probably kick-started the widespread erasure of Gnostic teachings and artifacts.

Idk man these gnostics dudes seem kinda chill. They put some respect on Mary Magdalene's name.

Have wanted to do some research on gnosticism for a long while now. Specifically because of a project that is on the back burner but won't leave my mind.

Might be a difficult read for me since I'm extremely unfamiliar with religious texts but willing to give this a try!

I've read all the game-changer books by now, but I'm so demotivated to write the reviews. So idk, I'll post them whenever I have a sudden spart of energy. I am very happy that I won't be missing any references in the TV show now, though.

Ending felt a bit too happy/unrealistic to me but maybe I'm just a pessimist.

I did enjoy this book though!! Will have to think about the rating though since I'm a bit conflicted for now.
