I believe most negative reviews are about historical accuracy and how faithfully they adapted the source material. At least that's what I think they were about.

I don't possess a lot of knowledge on either of those, and I really enjoyed it! As someone who studied animation, I was really impressed by the practical and digital effects as well as the sound design, soundtracks and editing. Which is an achievement because I'm sometimes hard to please in that department 😂

Normally, action scenes don't move me to my core, but some of the intense scenes, also fighting scenes, really hit me on an emotional level.

Story-wise, I also loved it. When the credits rolled, my friends and I just sat there with a hundred-yard stare lol.

So yeah, safe to say I enjoyed it, and I'm ready to scour Reddit and YouTube essays to let it linger a little longer 😂

Ahaha that's amazing then!! I suspect I would be the same because I've never even read Homer so the nuances would probably go over my head. It was interesting to hear different perpectives the knowledgable people have though 😳

Sounds like a movie worthy of seeing on the big screen! I haven't been to the cinema in years so maybe I should rectify that 👀❤️

Right?? One of my friends has already given me a lecture about all the inaccuracies.😂 Meanwhile I just had a great time 🤷

If you do want to break your non-cinema streak for a movie, this one is definitely a great contender!👏 I'm glad I was able to watch it on the big screen instead of just via streaming services.💚
