Usually love Sue Moorcroft’s books as an easy escapist read. This one, however, has so far been four chapters of crammed backstory with an annoying, immature, entitled Judith as our heroine. Her characters are usually lovely! Hope she has a personality change real soon.

Oh ffs much ado about nothing!

Ive just started this one but had a lightbulb moment about this series. Each book is constantly telling you that everybody likes the main character. Which is strange because as a reader I find her very unlikeable based upon her actions and interactions. So they show her as unlikeable but keep saying things like « That’s one of the reasons that everyone likes you » 🤷🏻‍♀️ and yet i keep reading them
