I’m enjoying it but idk why people were saying Khal and Khaleesi vibes??? Because she has white-blonde hair? I was expecting like a warlord/nomadic kingdom plot which it is not.

Ignoring the fact that she’s 15 (ridiculous) idk why she’s been so nice to Avery. There better be a serious redemption arc going on because right now it’s just annoying.

Ok here’s where I’m at with this book. I don’t really understand the motivation to break into the Eternal City. Like that is such a big risk to take just to find out whatever Danika knew and it doesn’t seem like they have anything riding on finding out this information. To me it just feels like Bryce convincing everyone to take a stupid risk because she’s curious. Really bugs me.

Why do they think Day is in the dungeons? I completely missed that logic.

Things are about to go down. I can sense it. I’m scared.

It kind of bothers me how much Hunt compares Bryce to Shahar. At least he’s seeing that she’s better, but still.

God I love Hunt and Bryce. They’re my fave SJM couple so far. I just feel like their foundation of friendship is so strong. Plus I love Bryce she’s my fave FMC.

Once again flying through this book. I knew I shouldn’t have started this series until it was finished.

This solstice deal is really cramping my style. NOT what I was expecting going into this book. But I’m hanging in there.

This book is so good. Best SJM book yet imo. Idk why everyone doesn’t like Hunt.

Ok…I’m very intrigued. The mystery is holding my attention way better than the one in Haunting Adeline.

Not sure why this didn’t hook me, but the series has such rave reviews I’m going to keep working on it. I’m in such a slump right now nothing is really keeping my attention.

I devoured the first 4 in this series but I’m flagging in this one. I always slow down on the last book and I don’t know why!

It’s been so long since I read this last I really don’t remember the plot. It’s weird to read about a sophomore in high school but I’m going to roll with it.

All right, I find the premise of this ridiculous. Why are 18 year old starting high school? Just make it college lol. But I will say, I’m entertained so far by the characters and willing to overlook the weird setting.
