Might have to eat my words later? But idk that I buy this Murong Lian redemption arc, he’s an interesting character to be sure but in the first book we see clearly how insane and cruel he is? Like psycolath level cruel and WITH Gu Mang, he almost gets him killed. Feels like his progression is a bit of a retcon tbh.
