Not a fan of the second person narration but it’s not a deal breaker.
One small criticism, there are too many similes, sometimes unnecessary, imo. Come off as a little bloated.

The politics in this book are bananas lmao in a bad way, unfortunately.
Also, I’m sorry to report the FMC is incredibly passive overall and the author keeps trying to convince us that she’s politically savvy and smart when… that’s not the case. At all.
