I don't... understand... What is "efficiency" in Codega's world?? It's been used 6 times and never in a way I've ever heard.

Many stories are written about interesting people that do noteworthy things. This story is about an utterly mundane and uninteresting girl (without a notable redeeming quality) that noteworthy things happen to and around. It's a different approach, but not necessarily bad.

If I knew before starting the main character was a God-following, straight edge, mother figure (three things I find incredibly uninspiring). I wouldn't have started. BUT glad I didn't know because I'm "sailing" through this. So engaging!

It's making me quite curious about the real life history and lore which may have inspired this story. Feeling a little YA, but still engaging

Thanks to Between the Chapters for this giveaway! I'm a little late getting started, but I have the feeling it's going to go quick from here. Only a couple chapters in and quite eager to keep it going.

So far the overly simplistic writing style bothers me. It sounds as if a child is writing about adults and work interactions based solely on what they've learned of adults in children's movies. Including the mean lady is ugly, mean man is handsome stereotype. The main character starts as utterly bland and uninteresting. I'll give it a bit more.

So far the overly simplistic writing style bothers me. The author writes about adults and work interactions as if he's a child imagining what it's like to be an adult based on kids movies.. including the ugly mean lady but handsome mean man stereotype. the MC seems quite unlikable. Let's see, I'll give it a bit more

The overdone sexualization of various women is yet to serve a purpose I can find..
So far, it's intriguing as a concept. Lots of open questions to keep one curious.
