In need of a light hearted junk food book binge. Hoping this read does the trick.

Started with a really great beginning but that seems to have changed. I'm hoping it picks back up because it's kind of depressing... and not in a wow these characters are powerfully sad and thought-provoking, but instead in a gah this chick is super annnnnoying make it stop, way.

over 40 pages in and its one long sex scene

so he forces himself on her, after her say no and stop several times... plus pushing his hand away....! Then admits he took something she wasn't willing to give! Dude that's called rape even if she "got off" an orgasm does not equsl consent!

I get it, there are "signs", you don't have to remind the reader every paragraph. Also, to say "I didnt say I died" in one chapter and then "I killed myself" in another is too confusing. Decide what you want me to think and stick with it.

why does Dylan think it's ok to put her hand on men? I have a serious issue with her smacking men just because she feels like it. I would have killed for Renee's sister to cold cock her at the wedding for hitting her brother.

God, this book is hard to stomach. Low self esteem girl, weird creepy guy. Its almost like the love story of two high functioning autistic people.
