Such uncanny serenity frightened him making him think perhaps this was a surface
impression left behind after any amount of unspeakable viciousness had been digested or else settled down inside her as a kind of sediment

Han Kang is one of the best writers I’ve read

Things are coming around after lagging in the middle a bit

I can tell this is gonna be a good one

Dark brooding violence

But also a hilariously oblivious husband and Koreans shocked at someone refusing to eat meat

Beautiful tragic snow sad melancholy nothing is happening but I’m so invested

Going along just innocent old me this is fun kinda creepy spooky fun
