Well, that's a surprise. I wasn't expecting Marlene Dietrich to be such a detestable woman even BEFORE she became famous.

Now THAT is amusing. Marlene Dietrich HATED the original German version of "Falling In Love Again (Can't Help It)" (original title: "Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuß auf Liebe eingestellt"), feeling it was too saccharine and childish. She ADORED the English version though...probably because it sounded EXACTLY like her own diary entries.
