chapter 5 - really enjoying fitz as a character and the ability to connect to/communicate with animals. i would have gotten more read but trying to read on a laptop at work destroys my eyes lmao

Already having a lot of conflicting feelings about this book. Like the humor isnt working for me and im so confused why Gideon is referencing things like pizza like is that a thing that exists in this world???that just feels wrong??but also i do want gideon and harrowhawk to fuck so idk.

Genuinely so absorbed in this. It's flying by.

So I have marked this as currently reading to hold myself accountable I AM finishing this book. I have read the first 50 pages before....and gave up. Not this time. I know I will love it if I just can get myself to commit to it.

It's taken me ..awhile to get this far so I'm contemplating putting it down. I might try and continue tandom reading with the audiobook and if that doesn't work dnf. I enjoy the setting and the atmosphere but I'm not particularly attached to any character or the plot yet.

Reading this one much slower, partially been more busy, and partially because its on my kindle now which sometimes I have a harder time picking up.

I'm interested...some of the stories the end feels a little sudden but because they are all interconnected I'm wondering if this will work out in an interesting way. I'm enjoying the writing and the humor.

reading this because archives are my job but I have taken few courses during my MLIS. Pretty good! I know a lot of this information already but a good refresher of basics.

so heavy in the way a lot of trans books are. trans lives are characterized by violence, shame and abuse but also love, solidarity and friendship.

Fucking insane and hilarious and disgusting I'm thoroughly enjoying. So much to say about sex and desire and loneliness, great for those chronically online.
