Binge reading because my dumbass let the due date creep up on me.

No one told me this is a romantic gothic horror. This shit is about to consume me (no pun intended)

I need to vent my frustrations before power through and finish this book:

1) The writing feels, disorganized. I can’t tell if the author wants this characters to act like High Fantasy nobility or Romantasy love interests, and personally I do not find these genres compatible in one story as they appeal to often very different audiences
2) There is not much showing, mostly telling
3) Elm best boy though for real

This is what we call a straight book for straight people (I am not the target audience)
