God.... There's so much recap. But literally everything is being described with the same words! Like copy and paste.

I was a beta reader. Now it's time to read the finished product :D

I take back what i said. Chuck lied about. Eing better than cured and nit being able to die. Damn, doyle and I are so gullible.

Yeah! Doyle is a bad ass! Stuff like this is what i want to see in the book. This part is wel done. Up until the point to where chuck explains the cure. So now he has auto regenerative abilities from the cure. So instead of weaponizing a bunch of MZs, its logical to inject the cure to give trained skilled soldiers auto regenerative abilities

Ok edgar threatens to kill off doyls friends and family. Ok. I got no complaints. But what bothers me is that edgar is a DOCTOR. An intelligent man of science. I dont think he would threaten someone by sending a simple letter. A phone call or face to face confrontation would be more dramatic since it will show a sort of arrogance in the doctor

Ok. So now things are actually kind of cool.

How does chuck have the dormant virus inside him? I domt recall ny me tion of how he got it.

Kai's little goodbye is funny. It actually makes me laugh out loud. Chuck and kai are ,y favorite characters, and hinestly, Ember does a better job writing comic relief than actual characters.... I feel like an ass for saying this, but hinesty is the only way i can write a review.

Doyle is weak and DYING and all addy can thing of doing is jumping right onto doyle's zombie cane? Stong bond or not, thats the LAST thing that would be on their minds, and Addy shouldnt feel rejected if doyle says no to se ON HIS DEATHBED

So the bonding is a two way street? I understand diyle bonding, i mean hes a zombie. But addy? A human? Humans dont bond in a literal sense, so im not sure how i can just believe that both are bonded together like that out of the blue. This boom lacks some realism and logic. In my opinion.

How could the whole family draw their guns IN PUBLIC at a gas station and just drive away without having the police called or the employees at the gas station freak out??? -____-"

I do like the humor in this book. Like the gretchen's overprotective mother bear compulsion "They're bad people russel. They stole my baby! Who does that? I'll tell you who, people that needs blowing up, that's who" Even though this made me laugh this is also an example of unnecessary repetition, which is a pet peeve of mine,

A hostile extraction, so brad ury hatched a plan to keep addy in the facility to keep doyle in the facility.... Thats flawed. A hostile extraction i would assume would be led by special operation forces. They dont care about if the VIP wants to leave or not, they will force him to go with them by force if necesary, just to complete the mission. Military will not go out of their way to save a girlfriend

So doyles parents are badasses,...seriously. All this new information being shived down my throat feels as though i got his by a semi truck. If inly there was some character building in the beginning and maybe some backstory, it would be easier to process. Like maybe doyle's family was as. Or al as can be and could never ever be badass. Something like that.

Aha! A pheromone bond was established between addy and doyle. So that exp,ains why doyle feels so strongly towards her. This needs to be emphasized. So i. The beginning, that insta love they share has to be more drawn out and described

Wait? So his father protected him in the pit? That was NEVER explained in the scene of the pit. He didnt even recognize who his grandfather or fsther was. So how could he have known who his fsther was when his grandpa has the only distinguishing characteristics?

Part of me wants to say that the i love you is rushed, but if i was in doyles place, not knowing when id die, id say i love you to abby asap as well

Ugh... I really feel cruel for saying this, but the book seems sloppy and rushed. Doyle asks stephen what happened to his mom and how she died. Rather than answering or making any hint that he heard it, stephen leaves and doyle pays no mind to it and focuses on Abby where he says he loves her.

Given, the book is not without its merits, they playfull banter between Abby and Doyle is enough to get a chuckle out of me, but what i am worried about is the development of the characters. I havent gotten a clear picture of the characters and I havent been able to form a bond with them as the reader.

Theres quite a bit that is bothering me from this book. Since when did doyle and abby establish they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. And in this point, abby's mood changes violently. Shes flirty one second and the next she is frightened for doyle and then she is crying. I cant get a clear picture of Abby as a character.

Troy has abrother? How come this wasn't brought up earlier? And why does miranda care?

Oh boy. Ex girlfriend in town. Yeah. It's predictable. I think I know what's going to happen.

Hahaha a sharknado reference?! Omg xD haha.

Hahhaa. I'm not a star trek fan, but I totally got the reference. Haha.

So far, this book had caught my interest pretty quickly. Action starts almost immediately. I like it
