Gotta say, I'm pretty bored with this one.

I'm kind of ready for this to be over already and it is still in the setup.

My brain needed a break, but this might be too much of one.

Rivers Solomon is brilliant, I really do love their ability to tell a story, but between this, Some Danger Involved, Lost Ark Dreaming, and the current state of the US... I'm a little bummed out. So much hate and greed between these three stories and current world events. :(

This is a Sherlockian type of story, you've got the brilliant (though not quite eccentric) private detective and his equally smart, but more formal sidekick solving crimes. It's doing nothing to really elevate the trope and quite frankly, with the current state of the US, I am finding the whole story centered around 'us vs them' mob mentality exhausting.

I should be getting through this novella quicker, but I keep falling asleep when I read it in bed at night... not because the book is boring, but because I am so very sleepy and my bed is comfy. :D This is pretty good so far, but it could benefit from a different translator - there's some real funkiness going on at times with the sentence structure just being flat out wrong.

This is so absurd, I never know what this author is going to throw at me and I've been left laughing a few times.

Man, this book sure is just a lot of fucking.

Just a little 180° from the last few books I've read.

I'm struggling to just go along for the ride. I'm waiting for something to happen, but this isnt that kind of story.

Ugh, this is shit.

This is silly and fun. The sound effects in the audiobook are obnoxious though.

I wish I would make myself read this at times other than at the end of the day when I'm in bed, it's making it take so long. It's much more interesting than the time investment would suggest.

I don't know why, well, maybe its the audiobook that I keep zoning out on (oops), but this isn't really doing anything for me.

I'm not far into this at all, but I do like the character of Fred quite a bit already, she is so fun.

This is so very dull.

Despite how all over the place this is, I'm enjoying it a great deal.
