It feels like watching someone make decisions in a game not about his live. He seems to neither require nor even desire human interactions or entertainment. He just decides to spend a few lifetimes doing nothing besides grinding without a teacher or outside information and spends them as hermit. The mental side effects might help but I don't buy him as character. His decisions seem to have no weight for him.

The problem when an outcome is too expected, is that you wonder why the characters didn't predict it.

They never did anything with the suspected traitor thing that might have justified keeping the dumb situation and then the most obvious things happens that they should have expected.

The whole arc subplot is such an idiot ball plot.

How does following the wall work with zone boarders? It kinda relies on there being doors if you follow the boarders around an area you should just circle the same area endlessly

Why did she decide to play super meek anyway, there was no real sign during the hiring so it wasn't for that.

Btw that she apparently autohacks everyone's data without even wanting it is so silly. AIs are no tech magic, hell there is little reason they would automatically be good hackers but just hacking stuff without them being able to control it is just silly. Unless their creator added a helper program to do that, but why would Bridget?

The "these are the bad guys" signalling is a bit clumsy/overt

She holds back on her fitness test because of the pod training her, I don't care how good the pod is three weeks won't make you stand out training wise. Well beside me sometimes thinking things aren't quite thought out the book is a pleasant read

Honestly she is starting to feel increasingly sueish. The whole bullying thing just feels like a vehicle to show of how *awesome* she is. It both happening so openly and her solving it with extreme violence (even if she reattach es the limbs) without a peep from the school or law enforcement feels artificial. And the there are other things like her immediately breaking that deadly taboo immediately after we hear it.

Maybe she should have told herself that shit before bringing Arthur back.

Social contests are one thing I dislike about the book. They are utterly broken and abusable but the locals don't really seem to make use of their extreme usefulness.

This is kinda silly, the blood traces split so is the theory she went one way, killed the elite, backtracked the blood she was losing and continued the other way?

Attacking MC in an area with foot traffic? They really need some fucking subtlety in their political intrigues unless the plans contain the deaths of most passengers or something else.

A bit can be excused because of the personal relationship and stuff, but how has MC managed to very successfully lead a squad in war given her weak self control and unprofessionalism?

Percentage is a guess because it is still part of the reading sample. Start wasn't bad but the robbers who appear to be also serial killers feel rather cartoonish. Well it is a story about an evil with enslaved undead hordes so I guess there isn't much to mess up there.

If I knew it would have a childhood after reincarnation arc I wouldn't have even tried it. Oh well might as well see how long it is.

Reading about Bdsm is different than reading about many other kinks. Most are either hot, easy to ignore or kinda disgusting but point is you usually either feel something about them or at least can focus on the normal sex. Bdsm stands out in that it makes sex scenes deeply boring. (Well if you aren't into it.)

"Ultimately, Huag's population was mostly normal, and as result, most people just didn't know!" wasn't 30-40% the normal rate for affinity and they go all to that school? Even if many don't return this is nonsense, people would talk about the school a third of 17+ year old were at and it would be fairly common knowledge. One thing abou this book is that I think the author didn't really think deeply about details

The King and now this guy. Is this world filled with imbeciles betting everything on their kids winning something they can't guarantee a win in? I guess the king at least only expected an affinity not a specific one with a specific skill.

Lucky for him the spirit of power is not above bailing him out, but I think the author has overdone his mental weakness a bit. Hesitating to attack something looking like the three is one thing, but he should at least realized he should. The words of the spirit are rather obvious and it makes him seem too childish to need a reminder.

His power is raising astronomically as is common in this genre. His mind however remains pretty weak in some ways. A shape changer would be a real problem to him if he already is unable to handle what he knows is fake.

Just finishing the reading sample. I remember liking the first book but this is a bit of a drag. Maybe it is just because the author decided to let him start the book with a sleep deprivation debuff and acting kinda brain dead because of it, but I think for now I will read something else first.

Why do they call it dungeon? It fits the d&d inspired meaning somewhat but is an unfitting use for the setting
