The joke that Starbucks is still making people come into work during the apocalypse is hilarious but also probably not that far off from the truth. (I worked for a big box hardware store 15ish years ago and was threatened with disciplinary action if I didn't come in during more than one blizzard even though I lived 20 miles out of town & literally couldn't get out of my driveway)

Good lort I despise Colin. The book is a good time, I'm having a good time. But holy freaking crap Colin is the worst. It's kind of hard to be in his head, I keep hoping the next thing is what will make him less selfish.

It's been awhile since I've read a book where the narrators constantly refer to something they've done but never mention what exactly it is. It's annoying. One has admitted it was cheating, which I called. I'm assuming the other is also cheating. But there also seems to be a ghost in the house.... All and all I don't know how much I'll actually enjoy this one....

I freaking love a rivals to friends to lovers trope. all the little vulnerable bits they learn about each other and realizing the other person isn't who they thought they were

This book has been BRUTAL. Not to mention me making myself stop for the night because I was afraid the existential crisis it was causing would give me nightmares. (it was a success because no nightmares)
