Fucking wow! This is why I love books with a soundtrack.

Wow! This author always captures that special something with her characters. I don't usually do updates but writing like this deserves additional comment.

I'm reading yet another YA novel where the heroine is sexually attacked and does not report it to the police. This was a particularly brutal scene and she is more concerned with making herself look presentable than making sure the guy is locked up. What message is this and other authors, who use this plot device, trying to send to young women? That violence against women isn't important? Fuck that and fuck them.

I see dead people! Fuck this book is depressing. According to reviews this book is supposed to be amazing but I am really struggling. It is heavy, the writing is heavy, the feelings are heavy. It is so joyless.

Banter!! I love it.

When did phase start to mean faze? Almost every book I read lately has this.

Very excited. My copy was just gifted by the author so feeling pretty special right now. This is my most anticipated book this year after the cliffhanger of cliffhangers in Labeled Love.

Thought I'd start this in keeping with the theme since my husband is rocking some serious road rash after coming off his board doing downhill yesterday. My version of sympathy.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 This heroine is annoying me. I'm over being in her head. We aren't friends. That's right, we're not friends. She isn't my friend. I know that Zapata writes a great story that is a slow burn romance and it will be all worth it in the end but right now I am happy to be distracted by just about anything for a break from what'shername's internal dialogue.

Struggling. I get the point- that even families get sick of each other. But it is so angry and whiny that it makes for rugged reading. Everyone has lost their sense of humour, including Griffin, so it has lost the charm and fun that the band had when are together in the other books.

LOVING THIS!! From the blurb that says the main character is a widow who's husband died in an accident where she was the driver, I thought this would be angsty and depressing. So far from the case. I have been smiling and laughing from the start.

DNF 55%. I'm done. Not wasting anymore time on this. I'm easily pleased and I almost never ditch a book. However, even I have my limits.Bad writing, unlikeable characters, blah, blah, blah. Very disappointing.

I'm 1.5 hours in and really struggling to continue reading this. I loved Colleen Masters other books but this is a chore to read. I don't like the characters and plot is confusing, he needs money, he doesn't need money. Do I care enough to find out?

Angsty but a little depressing. Taylor and Hale have an amazing connection but can't get it to work.
