More ridiculousness. There's no border crossing with Mexico an hour's drive from Fort Davis. You're talking 2 hours at minimum.

Ridiculous. Simone and Lucy are meeting at a lodge in Fort Davis, TX. Simone flies into the tiny airport of Del Rio, TX. She says it's around 10pm, then she arrives at the Airbnb just after midnight. It's about a 4 hour drive in real life. Also, why fly into Del Rio, when Midland is an hour closer to Fort Davis? And she says her flight was "FR1839", which is RyanAir. Which doesn't fly to the US. Sloppy.

Still annoyed by inaccurate character voices. A 25 year old female American New Yorker wouldn't say "Rose colored spectacles", she'd say "Rose colored glasses".

It annoys me when authors don't use the appropriate vernacular with their characters, particularly regarding Britishisms and Americanisms. An American man would not say "She's meant to bring a ...", he would say "She's supposed to bring a...".

+10 points for the author including accurate jargon for the British vs. American characters (too many authors get it wrong).

-50 points for how many times Kevin calls Karena 'Laredo'. Enough already, ok? Nobody talks like that, inserting a nickname into every other sentence. ugh.

The main character is "on standby" at the Wichita KS airport, to fly to Oklahoma City OK. Umm, first of all, no airline flies between those 2 cities without first connecting in some airport in another state. Second of all, it's only a 2.5 hour drive between the cities. Can we be more realistic?
