I did this backwards and started with the second book which was unfortunately not much of an improvement I fear.

I am enjoying the banter and the Witt quite a bit but much like the sequel, this book is a bit exhausting to read. There are too many unnecessary words and not enough plot.

It feels unnecessarily worded.

Do we get a Paxton and Ezra book?
I would love to read that.
