This one's not really working out for me. :(

I'm entirely too impatient. Magic Shifts doesn't come out until tomorrow, but I wish I had it right now. But that's nothing compared to the wait for Archangel's Enigma. Killing me!

I'm back into PNR and I need good rec's. Anyone have a series you could recommend? I've read Naughton, Frank, Singh, Feehan, Cooke, Brooks, Laurenston, Aiken, Cole, etc. and am looking for new authors. Ideas?

Ho hum so far. Seems like everything has happened too fast. Makes the setup seem even more unbelievable. Hopefully I get sucked into it eventually.

Wish it was already Tuesday. I want to read Heart of Obsidian.

Worst birthday surprise EVER. lol.

Wow. This was completely different in tone and execution than the previous books, but it really worked as a follow up to the huge changes that happened in the last book, Changes. I enjoyed it a lot.

I put off reading this one for a while (despite this being one of my favorite series) because I was afraid of what the changes at the end of the last book would mean for the series. I was afraid to dislike it. I'm happy to say that I'm enjoying the read despite how different everything is.

Pretty light so far. Hard to take a book seriously when the hero and his friends refer to themselves by the 'Hellhound' nickname. It's one thing for a person to give your group of friends a nickname, but for you to use those nicknames and refer to someone as "Sleuth Hound" with a straight face? No. Just...no.

Holy crap that is grim and terrifying. I wish I didn't believe there were places like that actually out there.

That would be a horrible reality to come back to. :(

So that's it? A lame 'I'm sorry' from him and it's all okay? Her admitting she let fear interfere with the best angle on the crime does NOT excuse him of stomping all over her back in front of her team and boss. And him equating what she did with Mira to what he did with her boss is ludicrous! Argh! It's crap like this that makes it so hard for me to truly like his character.

Wow. Just...wow. Roarke can be such a douchebag. I can't believe he just pulled that move with Whitney. I'm not married to him and even I wanted to punch him in the face! I predict I'll need another break after this book.

The little intro to their past cracked me up.

That visit back to Dallas was very intense. Poor Eve. Poor Roarke. :(

Bleh. Still not enjoying it. Don't like the heroine and can't figure out why the hero cares enough to upend his life for her or why he's so jovial after someone he supposedly loved dumped him harshly twice. I think it's supposed to be a cute Rom-Com but it's not working for me on that level at all.

Eh. Not really ringing my bell so far. Being dumped into this situation and not being able to see why Jack cares so much about Sydney is not exactly endearing her and her jerk behavior to me. It also makes Jack seem pathetic. *sigh* Hopefully I start liking it more soon.

*sigh* Such a lovely romance. I <3 you, book.

I'm totally enjoying this. Watching their past and present unfold alongside each other is great and I'm equally into each storyline. I'm dreading finding out what drove then apart though. I don't want any deal breakers!

Son of a...is there a love triangle in this book? I'm going to be pissed if there is.

I'm very curious to find out what happened between them 8 years ago. So far I'm really enjoying what I've seen of them in the past. It looks like I'm going to like this one. :)

The excerpt of this really hooked my interest, so here's hoping that the rest works for me.

Not sure what I think so far. Interesting but I haven't gotten to the meat of the story yet.

I'm surprised by how ho-hum I've found this book. It doesn't seem to have much real meat to the story. We'll see if it picks up.
