god a short book feels like making progress so fast

Got legitimately scared last night. It's criminal more people aren't reading Thomas Olde Heuvelt.

This book came to me in exactly the time I needed it 💕

You ever read an author and instantly know you'll never master the craft the way they have? Jfc this book keeps hitting

The internet told me not to sleep on Rivers Solomon and they were right. I'm not far into this and I typically wait until I know I'm going to finish a book before I talk publicly about it, but the first collection of pages here are STRONG. Lines of pure poetry and grace, even talking about the darkest of things

I'm absolutely loving this book. I'm at 60% and it's been all historical background and character setup but I am primed and reader for the MC to fight for her fucking LIFE

Shit is about to hit the fannnn. the last section was a great exploration of the expectations of others and pressures on women to keep the family legacy

I have a feeling about where this is going and if it is, I would be THRILLED

This will be a slow read because of All The Things but I'm pretty intrigued about the direction of the story. Also I know nothing about the history present in this book and I'm eager to learn more
