Victoria, now 18 and emancipated, has lived in group homes for most of her life after being abandoned as a baby. She doesn't know her origins -- who her biological parents are, her birthplace, not even her real birthday.
She knows a lot about botany and chooses flowers to convey certain messages. Shortly before leaving her last group home, she steals dahlias, which mean dignity, and gifts them to her housemates.
