I am sooo thoroughly confused. There was wayyyyy too much information thrown out all at once. I feel like I'm trying to solve a puzzle since the beginning, however I'm still so lost. I do not understand the wielders vs specters vs spellbinders vs the compass vs the coins. This is NOT the book to try and read while I'm tired because I'm so lost right now!

This was really hard to get into. I felt thrown into a high fantasy. Also feel like the author used a thesaurus to come up with random synonyms as much as possible. It just got interesting though and now I'm intrigued.

Oh the FMC and MMC are insufferable! I could understand the first 20% but 577 pages of it?!

Yeah absolutely not. I'm dnf'ing this before I waste more time on this. This guy is such a major 🚩🚩🚩🚩and the FMC is completely naive and oblivious.
