Reading this again, I'm finding myself relating to Bella so much. I've also enjoyed reading this as part of a group with people who also love the fandom.

Tara could be writing me in her introduction. Relating to this book so much.

ARC. I really hope these clowns are not actually bad guys. Every time Carlie encounters them I have to giggle. Great comic relief amidst the drama. Back to reading.

So what happened to the other guy? where did he go? I have so many theories.

Terry kindly gifted the first Halfway book. Loving it! Carlie proves short girls can be kick-ass. Also everytime she's in the Dinner, I want waffles.

I've just started and this is read out loud, highlight quotes good. And CLOWNS! Oh the clowns!

Poor Jill, having your life turned upside down by a talking cat - and a hunky detective- is one thing, but then to have the sock of finally finding your mother, only to have her die! Yikes!

OMG, this is good. Super funny, yet smart. Daggers knows he's a bastard and isn't afraid to let others know it. And at first Steele, Daggers new partner, seems meek and disappointing. Until she opens her mouth and gives Daggers a run for his money. Loving this book so far, I want to read the next three now!

I am struck once again by the difference between Edward and Edythe. Its not about the character, but the same character doing the same things, in a different gender. I can understand more now how those who protest the original books saw the relationship as abusive. And at the same time I can see how a change in gender makes all the difference. The female vampire and male human makes the relationship more even.

Trying to figure out the logistics of Beau climbing onto Edythe's back...it's like Edward doing the same to Bella. Weird.

Why is it when a female does it to a male he's whipped, but when a male does it to a female it's abuse? Oh society.

Hehe, Beau certainly has the 'yes dear' attitude down. Loved the new Port Angeles chapter. And female Jacob/Jules is awesome. Back to reading.

OMG I love Edythe, she is such a fun character. Poor Beau just can't keep up with her.

Well now I'm seeing more differences between Bella and Beau. It's subtle but there.

Spent some time reading while I was out and about today, didn't sit in waiting rooms as much as I thought I would. Interesting so far, its fun figuring out who is who in the gender-swap.
