There's someone missing, as well as the battery on the phone they need to use to call for help, and they're sitting around playing board games/trying to make the best of their spring break instead of doing more to, I don't know, find the missing battery or something actually useful? Riiiiight .... Riiiiiiiight. Totally reasonable. 🙄

I know there wouldn't be a story to tell if characters always acted rationally in these situations, but it baffles me that she is refusing to leave her home after seeing that creepy ass ghost/demon/creature/whatever. I would've immediately run away and never looked back. The End.

I have an idea of what's going on, but I just can't piece it together/make sense of anything. The final twist in this book is about to kick my ass.

This is the first book I've ever read in Spanish and it's not as challenging as I thought it would be. I'm actually really enjoying it, and will probably read more in Spanish from now on.

DNF'd this last year, but I'm giving it another chance since I bought a copy of it. I'm hoping I just wasn't in the mood for it then.

How do they not know Ace is a woman? Anya's father referred to her as a "she" multiple times in the previous book. 🤔

This book is seriously kicking my ass ... 😭😭

I don't think I've come across two such unlikable characters as Renata and Einar in a very long time. I doubt I can get through four hundred something more pages. Which is SO annoying because I was looking forward to reading this. Zombie apocalypse + spicy romance is such a good concept, but the characters are killing it. I can't.

Going to DNF this for now because I suddenly have no desire to read anything at all. I will be returning to it sometime in the future though, I just can't get into it right now.

This plot twist just blew my mind a little. 🤯

She cannot be having second thoughts when she was the one that came up with the idea, like come on. 😭😭

Maybe I should give this more time to get better, but the writing is feeling completely flat and honestly .... I'm bored. The premise is definitely interesting, it's just not doing it for me. ✌🏻

I love when a book hooks me like this. It's almost 5AM and I haven't been able to put it down. 😅

This book is slowly killing me with how bad it is, so I'm just going to DNF. I was forcing myself to see it through, but after reading other reviews it's clear to me that I'll just be pissed off even more after finishing it. What the hell happened? Malice was so good and this is just not it.
