How do they not know Ace is a woman? Anya's father referred to her as a "she" multiple times in the previous book. 🤔

This book is seriously kicking my ass ... 😭😭

I don't think I've come across two such unlikable characters as Renata and Einar in a very long time. I doubt I can get through four hundred something more pages. Which is SO annoying because I was looking forward to reading this. Zombie apocalypse + spicy romance is such a good concept, but the characters are killing it. I can't.

Going to DNF this for now because I suddenly have no desire to read anything at all. I will be returning to it sometime in the future though, I just can't get into it right now.

This plot twist just blew my mind a little. 🤯

She cannot be having second thoughts when she was the one that came up with the idea, like come on. 😭😭

Maybe I should give this more time to get better, but the writing is feeling completely flat and honestly .... I'm bored. The premise is definitely interesting, it's just not doing it for me. ✌🏻

I love when a book hooks me like this. It's almost 5AM and I haven't been able to put it down. 😅

This book is slowly killing me with how bad it is, so I'm just going to DNF. I was forcing myself to see it through, but after reading other reviews it's clear to me that I'll just be pissed off even more after finishing it. What the hell happened? Malice was so good and this is just not it.

I was having a hard time getting into this to begin with, and now a dog was introduced into the story ... No thanks. Definitely DNF'ing this. I went into The Troop blind, and the animal cruelty in that was intense. Can't imagine what he's about to do to the dog in this book. 🥲 Just going to spoil it for myself online and move on to something else.✌🏻

I'm already a little creeped out and stressed by this book 😅

Only a few pages in and the writing is not great. This could've definitely benefited from more editing. Can't even imagine what the rest of the book reads like. 😶‍🌫️ It's a DNF for me.

I'm not vibing with this at all 😭 I've been trying to finish it for days and only manage to read a few pages at a time. Thinking about DNF'ing it.

Reading this again before I get to Mate, and I have no idea why I didn't like it the first time around/rated it two stars. This is SO good. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it or something.

Going to DNF this for now and come back to it later on. I just can't get into it right now.
