The control of parents over their children in eastern society is sometimes so cruel. On the other side, it is too detached. Is there any culture which has managed to find a balance?

I think poetry has more power over me. It's appreciation and partial understanding more inherent to my nature. But it doesn't cure my restlessness but helps it ascend a note higher.

I change, rather have made my mind. It is good, not inept writing. The teenager-ish vibe isn’t bad at all. I like the fey in Anne and the immaturity of the plot. Life sometimes rather IS like the latter and me, like the former, although I am 32! Or just PMDDing!!! 🤪

I think, for the first time in my reading of her more than 30 odd books does Agatha Christie’s writing seems like that of an inept teenager, only at times though, and around Anne’s chapters, so understandable too. TBC…

I don't get this sudden turn of Anne being obsessed and "in love with" the man in the Brown Suit aka Lucas. That's stupid. Also Mrs. Blair being Mrs. Blair. Maybe she is a culprit too. But the chapters got too silly and stupid in the middle. But a Christie fan reads onnnnnnn.

I rather like our vivacious, enthuasiastic Anne, filled with self confidence and yearning for adventure and creating a sense of it by herself no matter what as she goes on. Also so funny!

A very, tad silly-ish, imaginative and rather suppressed girl as an "I" protagonist in a Christie novel! Wooooooo!!!!!
