Okay I’m 55% of the way through listening to this as an audiobook when they read a bunch of letters. I’m curious about how the letters look visually so I crack open the book only to learn- THE WHOLE THING HAS BEEN ILLUSTRATED FROM THE START. So I can assure you the text stands on its own merit. But man that sucks.
