umm how are we going from like 4 deaths in the last book (right at the end) to then just going straight to Annie's house to tell her that her son is now a vampaneze and will eventually kill every person he feeds upon because his blood thirst will compel him to do so but also like "hey, I'm alive actually and have been living as a vampire and your son is doomed." to be continued...

I just wanna make note that this talk about Juliette being in charge and Castle asking her what "after" is gonna look like is reminding me A LOT of GoT when Dany is talking to Snow about how they'll know what's good because they are good. I love this series so much so far but it's not lost on me that the world building hasn't zoomed out yet. Like we still don't really know what's going on outside of sector 45.

so not a lot of plot shoo the first book didnt have much either BUT we're getting something now and i'm still loving it! idk if i'm wrong but loving the more character focus and trying to figure out who are and how you relate(?) to the world

So is he still crazy? Maybe? For good reason? Maybe? Does this change how I see him? Yea I think it does 🤔 I'm just shook that the reasons why he did what he did are not as "nefarious" as we were led to believe... but still... idk🤔 honestly this is a necessary read (I may actually feel conflicted but kinda rooting for him 🤷‍♀️)
