This book is really squishy.

Look, I realize that all romances have a third act conflict but that doesn’t mean I have to like it.

Guys is this whole book structured as fictional think pieces on whether a fictional documentary is a hoax or not? With footnotes and marginalia everywhere? Because if it is I’m going to be annoyed so fast.

DNF on page 4 because wtf do you mean this has footnotes? A contemporary romance novel? Immediately no and I’m angry I even started it.

Holy gods how do I still have over 300 pages left? Why yes, I am annoyed.

My coldest Dan Brown take is that Robert Langdon is an insufferable know-it-all and DB greatly benefited from Tom Hanks as a casting choice to make this guy more palatable to the masses.
