Melody Curtiss is finished with But the Angels Never Came (EJO Book 2)
As I read the first few words of Eric James-Olson's novel, But the Angels Never Came, I knew I would enjoy it. I did not expect to finish it in one night. But I did because I couldn't stop reading.

The book picks up speed through Chapter two - a discussion of the culture of the Commons. I find myself comparing statements to the great social experiment going on at this moment in the context of a "Reality Show" drama called Utopia. While intended as entertainment, footage from this show would be excellent material to study on the discussion of waste/preservation and the behaviors that develop culture of commons.

For the first time in ages, I am reading a book that is both intellectually challenging and thought provoking. (I recommend skipping the forward - a bit yawnish.) Having just completed the first chapter, I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying the read. By page 3 of Chapter One, my internal voice was responding with so many questions and comments, that I had to stop and scramble for a highlighter and a pencil.

THE PROCESS OF WRITING. What to Wear to The Revolution is back from editor and I've done as suggested. Now I'm re-reading for errors I probably inserted...this is the danger of the modern age of keyboarding. Accidentally removing words and re-inserting commas that you previously agreed must go. O, for the days when I had a clerical assistant to catch my stupid before it could get out the door. "Front!"- Jubal Harshaw
