Ezra was already on thin ice and now it’s cracking. I can’t remember the last time the romance in a romance novel was this undesirable to me.

I struggle to be interested in Zara’s personal life, but the case is interesting.

While I enjoyed the drama and the book is well written, this was never really an ideal romance to me bc emphasis was placed on what Charlotte could do for others; not what others could do for her.

Charlotte is one of my favorite FMCs I’ve read this year.

I cannot stress enough how this “romance” feels like a group assignment. Teddy’s also quite dumb??

This far in and Teddy feels like every “quirky”character from a romcom in a bad way. The weird rant to the TSA agent, the existence that’s purely to help others, and low self esteem don’t make for a lovable character to me. I also see no chemistry here.

This is the best storyline I’ve read for Damian in a few years.

The portrayal of the friend concerned with colorism could not have been more annoying. Why is she the stereotypical “friend that’s too woke”? She deserves better friends.
