Surprisingly good so far. I heard about this book through a YouTube reviewer who was reviewing Jeanette McCurdy's new novel. Apparently, this one did it first and did it better. Piqued my interest. Gotta love those instant library digital loans! ❤️

I'm almost halfway through this book, and I feel as though nothing has happened. There is no clear MC - each chapter just switches to another character. If I had chosen to read this as a kid, I surely would have abandoned it by now. Oh well, let's just power through since it's a short novel...

Y'know, I thought I would enjoy this one more, but here I am, 100 pages in, not feeling much of anything.

Perhaps it is because the story feels so familiar and predictable? Hmmm...But "1984" was also a novel I knew a lot about before I actually read it, and I was enthralled from start to finish. 🧐

Very cute. Hits closer to home than I thought it would.

I'm really digging this author. I stumbled upon one of her novels while I was in the hospital a couple of years back, and I remember really enjoying her writing style. Chick Lit isn't my typical genre, but I look forward to checking out more of her work in the future.
