i read the reading progress i made in my 1st try reading the king's avatar and i absolutely forgot that i already even reached chapter 800 or 50% at that time!! reading my updates from then, i really completely forgot anything, so after vol 4, it's like reading the rest for the first time!!

third time reading this part but i always feel a touch of sadness whenever it's about Ye Xiu's deep passion for playing, only for him to be forced to quit. he just wants to continue playing and even said he could go on for ten more years, but he was pushed to helplessness by his own club. he seemed so calm and nonchalant about everything, but thinking about how he really felt inside is making my heart ached.
