The whole history lesson on the Asteri —— get to the point ya know?? SJMass has been taking her time with CC tbh. Excited to see how it goes though …

Wow. Okay i FLEW through this one. Such a sweet and wholesome romance. Really loved both main characters. Jacob reminded me a lottt of my person which is probably why i loved this so much. I loved how much the author dove into social anxiety and how much it can affect a person.

I am still gonna read House of Flame & Shadow PS.

I’m conflicted. It’s taken me over a month to get through CC. i have definitely fallen off a few times and had to circle back to it but i don’t hate it.

I truly enjoy a lot of the characters and the story, it just seems to take its sweet time to get to the good stuff. Compared to all the other Sarah J Maas books, probably on the bottom of my pyramid.

3.2 ⭐️Listened to the audio version & really liked the narrators for both characters, however it took me a long time to finish this. Started mid March and ended mid April.

The plot reminded me a lot of The Hunger Games and i thought a lot of the dialogue was kinda cringy to be honest. I wanted to know what happened next so clearly i was intrigued but overall it was okay.

Honestly, i like Cormac. The rest of them seem like they’re only protecting themselves.

The world building and history in this book has been a roller coaster. I love it but have found myself rereading certain parts. Tad confusing. The build up for who the villain is has also had me questioning every damn character I’ve been introduced too. At the point, where i half love half get annoyed with Bryce. The tension is good though especially between her and Hunt. More updates to come..
