I love reading about the madman. The professor- not as much.

A difficult read so far. I honestly don't know if I'll finish...

I've been waiting to read this book because there isn't a Kindle version. But now I'm psyched up to carry around a book old-school-style so I can finally read this book.

I could read about Darwin for days at a time without getting bored.

Loving this book! 175 wines under $15/bottle. Very useful. Part I's insightful expose of wine pricing is very interesting. I'm about to purchase a copy as a Christmas gift for my in-laws

Just finished a fascinating section about earthquakes, volcanoes, and plate tectonics. Yellowstone National Park is over a very active supervolcano- and I may never go there again!

I'm baffled that Pluto is only 0.005 of the way to the end of the galaxy and that we are even capable of knowing that. I'm also enjoying reading of scientists that are so famous now (Newton, Halley, etc) and how they were connected to one another.
