Had to give up. It's like Hunger Games, only not good. Like someone tried to rip off Hunger Games, only badly.

Why is this called Lesbian anything? ONE story has lesbians, the rest is a sausage fest.

Had highs and lows. I really enjoyed the beginning as the kids were babies then teens. After that it really dragged for me.
Interesting backgrounds on the housewives, I enjoyed the going back to they're upbringings to see how they got to where they were.

Has highs and lows. Other reviews that say her memories are too thorough don't seem to understand that the author had to go with what probably happened as otherwise the book would have started when she was ten. SMH.

20% and it's still just hints of who Carmilla is. I am losing interest FAST.
It has possibilities but if something doesn't happen in the next 10% I'm outtie.

It was good. By book three I was ready for a break though.

The entire book is worthwhile if only for the story of the Russian Circus Bear at 32%.

I am hard pressed to find words for how terrible this book is. There are books to bad to finish, then there are books that are worse. Books that are like zit popping videos on YouTube. This is a YouTube Zit Popper.

Not his greatest work. I can't sleep and I was so bored a barely skin mimed 20%, the fight scenes. If this was the first I read by him I wouldn't read more. Says Jack Daniels is in it? Her voice in s phone twice.

Open it, thick-slice it, put it into a pan, just cover with milk, add brown sugar and sprinkle with Coleman's dry mustard, put it and however many potatoes in over at 350 for an hour.

Ok, creepy. Each one very different, but felt the same. The second one took a bit for me to get into but the ending made up for it.

I very quickly lost track of who does what, and then even faster lost any urge to care. If one more pops up I'm done. Which is a shame. I have the feeling this author could be good, if she wasn't trying to do Lord of the Rings material in a short story manner.

The first chapter I was totally captivated, wanting to help this girl, horrified at her situation. Then the following chapters were introducing different species, with rules, who hates who, etc, at the rate of six every second page.

I haven't been gripped by a King book since The Girl Who Loved Tom Harding, last name may be different. THIS one had me so enthralled I was reading and realized I had read past the start of SVU! I kept reading! Reruns are fine. This book is great!

Written like a text book. Boring and dry. If I had paid for this I'd be pissed.

Library book, have the buy it at some point.

Interesting enough that I stayed up late reading, and had to retread, as the Ambien erased a lot. Like getting a new copy every night. Lol

I love Sarah Waters. Her books are like a melancholy dream, slow, vaguely sad, deeper than they appear. I get caught up in the heroines thoughts, and float along happily, then it's over and I'm left with pieces of them stuck in my mind.

Really truly enjoyed this book.
