Took a break after realising that I wasn't in the mood for the story, but now I will continue

I like the book so far but.. There is a lot of repeating. In the first 30% she explained twice how she could tell the twins apart, and multiple times what they smell like. By now every time I read the name Jace, I smell oranges. I would probably smell bergamot when I read CJ but I have no idea what that smells like.
Other things get repeated as well and most of it is unnecessary.

I loved the first one and I love this one so far, but I've read a spoiler for the end and I don't like it haha. So I'm going to wait until the next book is out.

It's so much text that does not add to the story. I can't keep my focus on the book. Will have to try it again someday

I always lose interest after the second book, but I liked this one enough to keep reading

I really hate it when books do this. When they go back in time and that they start the entire story all over again. I liked the connections she had made and want to know how it would go further, but now everything will probably change again. I hope it won’t take long before they remember each other.

I know this is a stupid thing to focus on but how can she go on a date after she just had een EEG. When I had an EEG, I washed my hair immediately after. Then I went to a party, where I had to ask if I could wash my hair because I could still feel the gel everywhere. It took me three days before it was finally gone. But this girl just has an EEG, puts away all the equipment and goes on a date.

I am at page 70 right now. The only reason I keep reading is because people seem to love this book. But the guys are really annoying and arrogant. They don't care about whether a dweller lives or dies and they find it funny to humiliate them.
I understand why though that makes it a little better but not much. They grew up learning that dwellers are nothing but ants that live to serve.

The author was probably thinking "How do I write about a 5 year old girl, oh I know just put a lot of exclamation points". There was even a ?! when it didn't make any sense.

I find it very difficult to get through this book. but since it is the last one I really want to finish it.
