Verse 147. Offering of flowers, etc., is not called worship. One should firmly fix the heart on the Supreme Space, which is beyond thought. From that love, there is union with God. That indeed is worship.

The Taittiriya Upanishad says that "Food is Brahma; from food all the creatures are born and by food they live, and after having departed, into food again they enter."
When an Atithi (guest) comes to our door at noon, it is our duty to velcome him by giving him food.

Different Sadhanas (means of accomplishments) are prescribed in our scriptures for different ages. Tapa (penance) is recommended for Krita age, Dnyan (knowledge) for Treta age, Yagnya (sacrifice) for Dwapara age and Daan (Charity) for Kali (present) age.

Baba took dakshina from all who visited, this taught non-attachment. He kept an ever burning fire, called dhuni. And gave ashes from the fire, udi to those departing, reminding of the ephemeral nature of the universe

Baba never fasted himself nor did he allow others to do so. When all our organs get their proper nutrition and are sound, we can practice devotion and other sadhanas to attend God. Therefore neither fasting nor overeating is good.

Our body should neither be neglected nor indulged, instead taken care of while pursuing self-realization.

A consistent pattern in the pages so far, of devotees who tend to be males, had two sometimes three wives and did not have any children inspite of trying and then had a boy child thanks to his blessings.
The English language, grammar and terms are dated as to be expected.

Tales of serendipity and miracles and some unexpected stories such as Sai Baba losing a wrestling match, then another of him dancing with abandon, and at least three instances of him flying into rage, anger, even throwing bricks in one case, and then settling down to be loving.

Read as little literary criticism as you can.
Trust yourself and your own feelings.
Every seed of a feeling comes to completion entirely on its own, in the dark, where your intelligence cannot reach.
Summer does come, but only to those who are patient, who live as though eternity stretched out before them.
Since he loves only as a man, not as a human being, there is something constricted ..

quietly, in all seriousness, keep growing in your own way. The biggest obstacle to that development would be for you to look outward, to expect outside answers to questions that only your innermost feelings in your quietest moments have any chance of answering.

68 One should cast one's attention on the joy experienced, between the beginning and end of the sexual act. One will be completely filled with Energy, and through the bliss of love, one is united with God.

Great Goddess, one should consider this entire universe to be a void. Then the mind will dissolve and one will be absorbed into the Void.

My version, the world around is a matrix or simulation

Meditate that the constitutive elements of one's own body, or the world are becoming subtle and more subtle, until they finally disappear. In the end, the Supreme Goddess is revealed.

During every moment of the day, in whatever way, whatever place, fix one's attention between two breaths. The mind will be deprived of the means of support, and in a few days, one will be free.
An everywhere meditation.

Bathe deeply in the continuous sound of a river flowing, or by closing the ears, hear the unstruck sound of God. One will then realize God.
39
O Goddess, chant AUM, etc., slowly. Concentrate on the void at the end of the protracted sound.
Then with the supreme energy of the void, one goes to the Void.

Listening to nature sound or chanting slowly and pausing at end are more meditation options

Similarly, by gradually focusing one's attention on anything, whether on space, or a wall, or a great person, one is completely absorbed into the Supreme Reality.
Consistent focus seems to commonality, object of your choice
